THE TARGET AUDIENCE
is the group for whom the content or message is being prepared

THE PRODUCER
Is the person or group responsible for arranging all aspects of the production, ie
  • Writing (Pre-Production)
  • Directing the Shoot (Production)
  • Editing (Post-Production)

Once you've identified a "need" for a communication solution, you're now faced with the challenge of planning and constructing that solution.
